Version 9.3
New features

Here, you will find a list of the new features and improvements provided with the current version of objectiF RM. To get a complete overview, please read the changelog.

  • Hide topics: In the topic bar settings, a new button allows you to hide items and groups for all employees. You can also move entire topics within the topic bar using drag-and-drop.
  • AI Panel: Prompts created in the AI Panel can be saved and reused for other items.
  • New classification for date properties: User-defined properties of the Date and DateTime types can be classified as start date, due date, or end date.
In the configuration dialog for hierarchical queries, you can specify for these date properties whether to check for overdue due dates and end dates. If such a value is exceeded, the display changes.
  • Custom “Effort” property: For all element types, custom properties of the “Effort” type can be created and used in forms.
  • Test cases now include effort: Test cases now include an effort value by default.
  • Forms for test case steps: Custom forms for test case steps can be created and used.
  • Enhanced Excel import for test cases: Test case steps can now also be imported during the Excel import process.
  • Expected results for test case steps: When creating test case steps, the expected result can also be entered.
  • New condition for tests: In the state machine for tests, the “State Check of Previous Tests” condition is now available to verify whether previous tests are in a specific state (e.g., whether predecessors have been successfully completed).
  • Block diagram expanded: The block diagram now supports the InterfaceBlock and ConstraintBlock element types.
  • Relationships in the Kanban board: Requirements now also display—as in backlog views—the requirements to which they are related.
  • Hierarchical query – Open elements by double-clicking: In the configuration, you can specify which element opens when double-clicked.
  • Copy settings for element types: You can configure the system so that states, relationships, and user-defined properties are copied by default.
  • Element Kanban Boards expanded: Two additional properties can now be displayed on the tiles in Element Kanban Boards.

  • Excel files with macros: Excel files can now also be generated using templates in XLSM format.

Version 9.1
New features

Here, you will find a list of the new features and improvements provided with the current version of objectiF RM. To get a complete overview, please read the changelog.

  • AI Assistants: Create AI assistants to use AI to generate additional requirements or test cases based on existing requirements. Based on descriptive text, instructions, and prompts, the AI generates suggestions that can then be incorporated into the project.
  • Import requirements with test cases and attachments from other projects: Using the wizard, you can import requirements—including associated test cases and attachments – from another project into the current project.
  • Set project properties when creating projects: When creating projects from a project template, you can now use the wizard to retrieve information and set it as project properties.
  • New state actions for copying properties: Using two state actions, project properties can be copied to another property of an element, and vice versa.
  • Custom forms for creating and editing: In a form’s properties, you can specify which form should be used for creating or editing.
  • Apply Template: When configuring a template, you can now define the default storage location for template elements. This location is then preselected when applying the template. Additionally, you can restrict the storage location for template elements of a stereotype – for example, to limit the package selection for a requirement to the sub-stereotypes “Requirements” or “Backlog.”
Furthermore, you can configure templates so that the Apply Template dialog is no longer displayed when applying the template, provided that all storage locations are configured and no placeholders for names are requested.
  • Templates for additional element types are now available: Starting immediately, templates can also be created for the following element types: PlannedSystem, SystemContextElement, and SystemContextRule.
