Administrative Tasks

Create glossary for a better understanding

Make a glossary available to the project as early as possible so that the essential terms, standards and rules are known to everyone from the outset.

State machines for a secure workflow

You can use state machines to control the possible state transitions and simultaneously define one or more actions for a state transition, which are automatically triggered during a transition. You can change the corresponding actions in the properties dialog of a state.

Context menu commands for targeted work

As an administrator, you can restrict context menu commands using authorizations so that user groups or individual users have defined rights to edit, view, delete, create, and so on. You can also determine which context menu commands are made available to the user in queries and views.

Patterns for recurring processes

Patterns can enormously facilitate everyday work and provide a desired structure.

Project templates for each project

When you set up a new project, it makes sense to select the correct project template. A project template in objectiF RM contains its own templates, document templates, evaluations, an initial project plan and predefined workflows, all of which are tailored to the project situation.

Documents for good communication

With the help of documents, you can compile project content according to your needs in order to pass it on to customers or internal employees. objectiF RM includes many document templates that you can reuse and adapt.

Forms for every situation

You cannot adapt the forms delivered with objectiF RM, but you can create your own forms or create several forms for an element type. You can create forms very quickly using the Form Designer.

Artifacts for individual work

If you need elements that do not exist in objectiF RM, you can add your own artifacts and relationships to your project.
In the Stereotypes window, you create a new element under Artefact, determine which properties it should have and which relationships to existing elements can be created. You can create, edit, version, generate artifacts in documents and display them in queries.
