Dialog “Edit Block Interface”

An interface specifies operations and signals that are used or realized by blocks. They are connected to the standard ports of a block by a realization or usage relationship. Their standard stereotype is “BlockInterface“. In the expanded state, it also shows the contained elements.

The dialog can be opened:

• via the context menu of a package with the command Create/ Interface 
• in a block diagram via the Create Interface symbol

The dialog

Name Optionally, you may enter a name here. This name will not be displayed.

Stereotype Make a selection from the drop down menu to change the stereotype.

ID An automatically generated ID is displayed here after the creation.

If the selected stereotype has user-defined properties you can define the values here.
