- by dragging & dropping multiple files into a directory
The Dialog
Files In this section you can view which files have been dragged & dropped into the directory. The files’ data paths are also included.
Stereotype The default stereotype here is FileProduct. However, if the uploaded files are MS Excel files, you can change the stereotype to GeneratedExcelFile; if you change the default stereotype, additional commands are made available in the context menus of uploaded files. These additional commands allow you to prepare the files for generating project data and generating project contents into the files themselves.
Use the section’s drop-down menu to change the stereotype; the available values here can also be edited.
Current state Here you can see the element’s current state.
Trigger event In the drop-down menu are events which have been defined in the state machines for Files/ Directories. If the option for Allow triggering of subsequent state transitions has been selected in the editing dialog for the Files/ Directories state machine, all possible events will be available for selection. If the option is not selected, only the next possible event is displayed.
Upon selecting an event and saving the dialog, the element’s Current state is automatically changed.
Tab ‘Description’
In this section, leave a description of the uploaded files.
Tab ‘Further Properties’
Depending on the assigned stereotypes, this section contains a list of user-defined properties.
