Administrative Tasks
Create glossary for a better understanding
Set up a glossary for the project as early as possible so that the essential terms, standards and rules are known to everyone from the outset.
State machines for a secure workflow
Use state machines to manage possible state transitions and define one or more actions that will be automatically triggered by a transition. You can change the corresponding actions in the properties dialog of a state.
Task Manager for regular tasks
The Task Manager supports you when, for example, documents have to be generated or revisions created at regular intervals.
If you want to work with Cumulative Flow Diagrams in your project, we recommend the Calculate Cumulative Flow Diagram task, so that data points are created right from the start.
Context menu commands for targeted work
As an administrator, you can restrict context menu commands using authorizations so that user groups or individual users have defined rights to edit, view, delete, create, and so on. You can also determine which context menu commands in queries and views are available.
Patterns for recurring processes
Patterns can help facilitate everyday work and provide desired structures.
Project templates for each project
When you set up a new project, it makes sense to select the correct project template. A project template in objectiF RPM contains its own templates, document templates, evaluations, an initial project plan and predefined workflows, all of which are tailored to the project situation.
Documents for good communication
With the help of documents, you can compile project content according to your needs in order to pass it on to customers or internal employees. objectiF RPM includes many document templates that you can reuse and adapt.
Forms for every situation
You cannot adapt the forms delivered with objectiF RPM, but you can create your own forms or create several forms for an element type. You can create forms very quickly using the Form Designer.
Artifacts for individual work
If you need elements that do not exist in objectiF RPM, you can add your own artifacts and relationships to your project.
In the Stereotypes window, create a new element under Artifact, determine which properties it should have and which relationships to existing elements may be created. You can create, edit, version, and generate artifacts in documents and display them in queries.
