Dialog “Edit Topics”

In the topic bar, you can group project elements such as diagrams, packages, views or external documents by topic and show or hide them as required. Topics can be customized and new entries added at any time. You can also define commands that can be used to create elements.

The dialog can be opened:

  • via the topic panel with the context menu command Edit

The following buttons are also available in the dialog:

 

If you select a topic, you can use this button to create a command for creating elements. The configured command is available in the topic bar under the selected topic.
Use this button to change the name of the topic and determine the groups and users who can see the topic. Topics that have the Private topic option are highlighted in bold and always displayed at the end of the list.
Use this button to delete the topic/selected element from the topic bar.

You can use these buttons to move the position of the selected entry up or down.
Use this button to transfer entries to a topic group. The button is activated when you have selected an element under Available Items that you want to transfer to a topic group. To transfer, select a theme on the left and the element to be transferred on the right. Then click on the button.
With these buttons you can show or hide a subject group. This group is then no longer displayed in the topic bar after saving the dialog. If a topic group is hidden, the group name is displayed in grey.
With this button you can create a command that allows you to create new elements directly from the topic bar.
Use this button to create a hyperlink to a web page, a file that opens with a click. You can also pre-configure an email with recipient, subject, and content.

Version 7.4 and higher
Use this button to create a seperator that is inserted at the end of the topic. You can select the seperator and drag it between two elements to visually separate elements in a theme group.
