Create elements

From the workspace, objectiF RPM provides various windows on the project. Which windows are offered to you depends on the set usage profile.

Create elements

You create new elements in the Products window using the context menu of a package that offers context-related menu commands for creating various elements. You can also use diagrams to create new elements. These are always stored in the package in which the diagram is located.

As soon as you create a new element, a form opens. This form always has the same structure and helps you to enter content for an element clearly.

A form consists of various tabs for descriptions, sources, derivatives, or in which relationships between elements are displayed. If content is stored in a tab, this is indicated by a black dot on the tab.

Move elements

By holding down the left mouse button, you can drag and drop elements or packages to another position or to another package. The position where the package is stored is indicated by a gray frame. Confirm the dialog.

Copy elements

Use drag and drop to copy elements or packages to another position or to another package. Select one or more elements and drag them into the required package. The package gets a gray frame. Press and hold the left mouse button to add the CTRL. If a plus sign appears, release the left mouse button. Confirm the dialog.
