Dialog for ‘History’ (Documents)
If you want to see the different states a document has passed through, open its context menu in objectiF RPM and select Show History.
Open the dialog:
- By selecting Edit Revisions / Show History in the context menu of a document
The Dialog
For each revision, you will see the date on which the revision was created, the processing state (if any), the staff member who made the revision, the name of the element, and its stereotype.
Additional options are available in the context menu of each revision.
Show Properties This command opens the Edit Document properties dialog. Here, you cannot make any changes. Instead, you can only view the properties of the document.
Compare with Current Version This command opens MS Word and shows you a comparative view where you can see the differences between a document’s current version and its past revisions.
Show This command opens Word and shows you the selected version of the document.
Restore This command restores the document to the selected previous version.
Export This command exports a revision in SXMI format.
Compare Select two entries and click Compare if you want to compare different revision levels. If you select only one revision and click Compare, the current state of element is compared with the selected revision.
