Dialog for ‘Startup Settings’

Via the dialog, a user can determine what should be displayed when objectiF RPM is started. Three options are available: the view (userboard or dashboard) which is specified for all users in the general settings, the userboard with projects and organizations or a dashboard of your own. Dashboards can only be selected if the user has the appropriate rights.

The dialog opens:

  • from version 9.0 in the backstage menu, via the command Personal/ Startup Settings

Show system-wide configured view By default, this option is checked. Depending on what is set in the General Settings, you will be shown either the userboard or a dashboard.

Show Userboard Check this option if you want to see the userboard after startup, even if a dashboard is specified in the general settings.

Show Dashboard Check this option if you want to see your own dashboard after startup. Click the […] button to select a dashboard.

Autostart behaviour after login

In this tab users can configure objectiF RPM to automatically open specfic projects and organizations upon logging in.

Show configured startup view This is the default option. When selected this means that either the userboard or a dashboard is automatically open upon login.

Show last opened organization/project Selecting this option will configure the system to open the last project or organization which was opened during the user’s last session.

Open organization/project Selecting this option will configure the system to open a project or organization which is specified by the user via the […] button.

Up to version 7.8.4

From version 9.0, the call and layout of the dialog changes. Up to version 7.8.4, the dialog is called up via the Userboard by selecting the option for Edit Backstage Settings, which is found in the upper right-hand corner of the userboard view.

View after Login

In this tab users can configure objectiF RPM to automatically open specfic projects and organizations upon logging in.

Show no Organization/ Project This is the default option. When selected this means that either the userboard or a dashboard is automatically open upon login.

Show last opened Organization/ Project Selecting this option will configure the system to open the last project or organization which was opened during the user’s last session.

Show Organization/ Project Selecting this option will configure the system to open a project or organization which is specified by the user via the […] button.
