Create Chat via Context Menu
Using the context menu of elements, you can use the Start Chat command to immediately contact the creator of the element via chat or video conference. For reviews and requirements, the command has been extended so that chats and video conferences can also be held with assigned employees and groups.
Creating Chats for Project Elements
In diagrams, in the Explorer, or in queries, you can create a chat directly via the context menu of an element using the Create Chat command. A dialog opens that already lists the creator or the assigned employees.
Using the Plus button, you can assign additional users and start a video conference directly. The chat is given the name of the element and is added to the Messenger.
By default, the chat is named after the element it was created for. However, the chat name can be changed if desired. Additional users can also be assigned to a chat with the Plus button. A video conference can be started directly through the dialog by clicking on the Video conference button.
After having clicked on the Video conference option, a chat is still created even if you click on Cancel in the following dialog for Start video conference.
Creating Chats for Requirements, Activities and Reviews
For requirements, activities, and reviews, you can use the Start Chat with User command in addition to Start Chat with Creator if employees or project groups have already been assigned.
