View “Kanban Board”

In the Kanban Board, you see and organize requirements that are assigned in a Sprint or a Release. The board is divided into columns, which you define when you create the board.

The dialog can be opened:

  • via the context menu of a package with the command Create other/ Kanban Board
The view

Each tile in a column represents a requirement. For a requirement, you see various information such as the name, the stereotype, the effort, or the assigned project team members. You can use the i to display the description of the requirement. In the lower area of the tile, you see the assigned project team members with their name abbreviation. If you go over it, the full name of the employee is displayed.

You can move the requirements from column to column using drag and drop.

In the view – top right – you can use the following buttons:

Sort by Stereotype The requirements in the individual areas are sorted according to stereotypes.
Sort by Name The requirements in the individual areas are sorted according to names.
Sort by state The requirements in the individual areas are sorted according to states.
Show only my entries Click the button if you only want to see the requirements that are assigned to you. In order to see requirements, you must be assigned to the requirement. The assignment takes place in the editing dialog of a requirement on the Staff tab via the Plus button.
Show all entries Click on the button if you want to see all requirements that are assigned to the context activity. For requirements to be displayed, requirements must be assigned to the context activity and must be in the states that you have configured for the kanban board. The assignment of the states takes place in the editing dialog of the view. The assignment of the requirements takes place in the editing dialog of the activity on the tab page Requirements via the Plus button.
