Weighted goals

Several stakeholders can have the same goal. However, a common goal is not equally important to all stakeholders. You can express how important a goal is to a stakeholder by weighting the relationship. It is best to define a uniform scale for your project.

Weighting in diagram

In the diagram, you can only weight goals if you have created an ownership relationship between the stakeholder and the goal.

• Open a goal diagram by double-clicking it or using the Show context menu command.
• Click the number behind Weight and enter any value.

Weighting via dialog

1. Open the editing dialog for a goal by double-clicking or using the Edit context menu command.
2. Switch to the Sources tab.
3. If stakeholders are already assigned, click in the Weight column and enter any value.

4. Save with OK.
