Create query reference

To avoid having to click through the packages to open a query or if a query is to be available in several packages, simply create a query reference in a package of your choice.

Create query reference
  • In the Products window, select a package of your choice and choose the context menu command Create other/ Reference to Query.
  • In the subsequent dialog box, select the query and confirm with OK. In the package a reference to the query is created which you can open as usual with a double click.

Using the context menu of the reference, you can find commands to navigate directly to the query or to edit the query. Changes you make to the query reference are automatically included in the query.

  • In the Products window, select a query and drag and drop it into a topic in the topic bar.
  • The query can be opened from here with a single click.
