Persona
A persona represents a real user group with the same goals, interests or wishes. They are based on behavioural patterns of real people and can be described precisely with concrete character traits, personal values and goals.
Persona and its relationships
In a use case diagram you can describe which requirements originate from which persona with a Required relationship.
Stereotype
The stereotype of persona is <<Persona>>. You need the stereotype if you want to create document templates, queries, forms or search for a stakeholder in the application. In the Stereotypes window you will find the Persona stereotype under DomainElement. The stereotype contains the sub stereotypes CustomerPersona, NegativePersona, PrimaryPersona, SecondaryPersona, ServedPersona and SupplementPersona. You can create additional sub-stereotypes or user-defined properties. Properties do not have to be created separately for each sub stereotype, since the properties are inherited from the main stereotype.
