Block

A block is a modular unit that describes both behavior (operations) and structures (properties) of a system.

Create block

You can enter blocks manually using a dialog or model them in a block diagram. You can recognize a block in the system by this icon:

Stereotype

The stereotype of block is <<Block>>. You need the stereotype when you create document templates, queries, forms, or search for a block in the application. In the Stereotypes window you will find the stereotype block under DomainElement. Here you can create additional sub stereotypes or user-defined properties. Properties do not have to be created separately for each sub stereotype, since the properties are inherited from the main stereotype.
