Indicator “Actual cost”

The Actual costs (Actual Costs, short: AC) indicator represents the cost of an activity that has been incurred to date. The actual cost is calculated from the planned cost of the activity and not from the time recording. Actual effort is expressed in person-days. For a value to be displayed, the current time line must not be before the start of the activity.

The calculation formula for activities:

Actual costs = DaysSinceStartActivity/Activity duration * Planned effort of the activity

For activities with partial activities:

Actual costs = Sum of the actual effort of the subactivities

You create the indicator in the dashboard

• within a group by clicking on the plus button, selecting Create new indicator and selecting Actual costs in the subsequent dialog under Indicator type.
