Indicator “Estimated at completion”
The Estimated at Completion (Estimated at Completion, short: EAC) indicator shows the calculated cost of an activity or project if work continues at current levels of efficiency. If you compare the value with the planned effort, you can see whether the effort of the activity/project will increase. The total effort is expressed in person-days.
The calculation formula:
Estimated at Completion = Effort of the activity/ cost efficiency
You create the indicator in the dashboard
- within a group by clicking on the plus button, selecting Create new indicator and selecting Estimated at Completion in the subsequent dialog under Indicator type.
Hint
If the completion value to the current point in time is 0, objectiF RPM also displays 0 for the Estimated at completions indicator.
